If you can't figure it out, maybe some of the 1100 gurus might chime in with some thoughts. Here's another list with some of the letter codes for the serial numbers. The letter "K" could be for the year 1963 and wouldn't have a serial number prefix, but that sounds a little suspicious, too. The letters "K I" would be May of 1976 (pre-1980), but then there should be a prefix letter of "M" in the serial number. As I remember this was a nice ladies gun with a minimal kick but it's been over 20 years since I shot it at the local turkey shoot, still don't need any turkeys. Because of this I've been holding onto it for the past 6 years and haven't tried shooting it as I'd be concerned it was unsafe but now my daughter is too big for the 410 and wants to shoot something bigger. REMINGTON SHOTGUN SERIAL NUMBER STRUCTURE M/870 LETTER PREFIX 1950 TO APPROX 1968: NO SERIAL NUMBER PREFIX. There arent any prefix codes to the serial. If no one can help me that's fine, as soon as I register it I can take it to a gunsmith, there's a little broken clip that causes it to jam if you attempt to eject a shell. The receiver has the serial 491V, I understand V to mean 12 gauge. It featured a compact receiver and a tubular magazine. If you could assist, I would greatly appreciate it. After looking through links on the page, it appears to have been manufactured between JAugbased on other serial numbers I looked at. The barrel has the code AFKI or AFK1, I'm unsure as the stamping is messy. The Model 12 was Remington’s first successful pump-action. I couldn’t find it on the website with the webpage provided. There aren't any prefix codes to the serial. The receiver has the serial 491**V, I understand V to mean 12 gauge. I know my father purchased it before 1980. I'm unsure as to how you get the exact length of the barrel. What I know it's a 12 gauge, 2 3/4 with a full ribbed barrel. I used to know a lot about guns and hunted all the time with my father, he fell ill some five years ago and passed away, before then he just randomly gave me this gun and gave the rest of them to my stupid brother I guess he figured the 1100 would be a good gurly gun and I used to shoot skeet with my little gurly 410. I apologize because I'm sure this has been asked a lot.

Tableau tests for a seasonal cycle with the length most typical for the time aggregation of the time series for which the forecast is estimated. On the other hand, if you forecast using data generated by two or more different DGPs, you will get a lower quality forecast because a model can only match one. Having enough data is particularly important if you want to model seasonality, because the model is more complicated and requires more proof in the form of data to achieve a reasonable level of precision. In general, the more data points you have in your time series, the better the resulting forecast will be. Seasonality is a repeating, predictable variation in value, such as an annual fluctuation in temperature relative to the season. Trend is a tendency in the data to increase or decrease over time. The method is exponential because the value of each level is influenced by every preceding actual value to an exponentially decreasing degree-more recent values are given greater weight.Įxponential smoothing models with trend or seasonal components are effective when the measure to be forecast exhibits trend or seasonality over the period of time on which the forecast is based. The simplest model, Simple Exponential Smoothing, computes the next level or smoothed value from a weighted average of the last actual value and the last level value. Exponential Smoothing and TrendĮxponential smoothing models iteratively forecast future values of a regular time series of values from weighted averages of past values of the series. All models with a multiplicative component or with aggregated forecasts have simulated bands, while all other models use the closed form equations. Tableau provides prediction bands which may be simulated or calculated from a closed form equation. When there is not enough data in the visualization, Tableau automatically tries to forecast at a finer temporal granularity, and then aggregates the forecast back to the granularity of the visualization. The eight models available in Tableau are among those described at the following location on the OTexts web site: A taxonomy of exponential smoothing methods. So it is possible for initial value parameters to be less than optimal. However, initial value parameters are selected according to best practices but are not further optimized. Therefore, choosing locally optimal smoothing parameters that are not also globally optimal is not impossible. The smoothing parameters of each model are optimized before Tableau assesses forecast quality. Tableau automatically selects the best of up to eight models, the best being the one that generates the highest quality forecast. If the quality is low, the precision measured by the confidence bands is not important because it measures the precision of an inaccurate estimate. Quality metrics measure how well the model matches the DGP. For a high quality forecast, a simple pattern in the DGP must match the pattern described by the model reasonably well. OverviewĪll forecast algorithms are simple models of a real-world data generating process (DGP). For details on forecasting using an integer dimension, see Forecasting When No Date is in the View. However, in the absence of a date, Tableau can create a forecast for a view that contains a dimension with integer values in addition to at least one measure.įor details on creating a forecast, see Create a Forecast. You typically add a forecast to a view that contains a date field and at least one measure. If you’re interested in predictive modeling, also available in Tableau, see How Predictive Modeling Functions Work in Tableau. Forecast algorithms try to find a regular pattern in measures that can be continued into the future. Forecasting in Tableau uses a technique known as exponential smoothing. Even before the jury verdict arrived, Eshelman filed a civil trespassing lawsuit against the four hunters, arguing that they had violated his private property rights by entering the airspace above his land. That was not the end of the story, though, for Fred Eshelman, the South Carolina-based founder of a multi-billion-dollar prescription drug company who maintains that the BLM considered corner-crossing to be illegal when he purchased Elk Mountain Ranch in 2005. The ranch manager finally garnered traction with the local prosecuting attorney, who told the Carbon County sheriff to issue citations and directed the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to tell the hunters to leave and not enter the “corner-locked” public land in question again.Įlk Mountain Ranch’s prosecutor-assisted victory, though, was short-lived: In April 2022, a jury acquitted the four hunters of criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor that carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a $750 fine. Undeterred, the manager next tried the local sheriff, again without the desired result. The department declined to intervene, arguing that the Wyoming attorney general had deemed corner-crossing like the Missouri hunters were attempting to be legal. The photo was included in legal filings associated with a civil trespassing case.Īfter the Elk Mountain Ranch manager’s initial deterrence proved unsuccessful, he called the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. The brass cap corner marker installed by surveyors is visible in this photo of a short fence erected by Elk Mountain Ranch to deter hunters and others from entering BLM land. They later reported that they encountered “an abhorrent amount of hunter harassment” from Elk Mountain Ranch employees, who swore at them, “stalked” them and scared off the game they were pursuing with an ATV. Neither the mapping app nor the ladder spared them from the ranch manager’s ire, which they’d first experienced when they hunted the south-central Wyoming area the year prior. One of the hunters also brought a lightweight, articulating ladder he’d built just for the occasion, so the hunters could cross from one corner of the Bureau of Land Management land to another - each open to the public - without stepping on the private property of the Elk Mountain Ranch. In anticipation of such difficulties, they’d brought a mapping app that displays property boundaries and the user’s location relative to them. The hunters knew, too, that the odds were decent that they’d encounter pushback from the manager of the Elk Mountain Ranch, even though they’d come to hunt the sections of public land intermixed in a checkerboard pattern with the 22,000-acre ranch. Three of them had hunted in the area the previous year, finding its high elevation, fir-dotted slopes and aspen groves ideal for elk and deer. The four hunters from Missouri had come prepared to Elk Mountain, Wyoming. This is the first installment of that series. In a three-part series, Montana Free Press will explore “corner-crossing” and what it might mean for public access in Montana. When four hunters used a specially constructed ladder to step from one corner of public land in southern Wyoming to another, the ripples from that decision were initially small but have since ignited an impassioned debate that could open - or unequivocally restrict - access to more than eight million acres of public land across the West. Week 7: DIY Couch with Stool Seating (current post).Week 4: DIY Faux Marble Countertop with Epoxy.Week 3: DIY Built in Gaming Console from Stock Cabinets.Week 1: Game Room Makeover Plans and Mood Board. This was the perfect addition to the game room makeover! CHECK OUT ALL OF THE POSTS IN THIS SERIES FOR PROGRESS I made one of these for the seat and one for the back of the couch. I used velcro to keep the cushion from sliding around the base of the couch. You should have a simple bench seat cushion that you can place right on the couch base! Once the sides are attached, trim excess batting and fabric at the corners and staple to the wood. Staple the fabric and batting to the underside of the plywood (now facing up) doing the sides first. Wrap the entire thing with upholstery fabric and flip over. Use spray adhesive to attach the foam to the seat base.įill in any corners or empty spaces with poly fil.Ĭover the foam and poly fil with batting to smooth out the foam top. 1/4″ plywood (or hardboard if placing it on solid wood like this build)Ĭut the piece of plywood to fit the seat base, slightly smaller than the base of the couch.I’ll show you a very simple way to make a no-sew couch cushion. So, guess what else got made out of scraps? I like to save upholstery foam from various projects that I flip, and my friend graciously gave me the foam from outdoor cushions she was replacing. It now looks like a cohesive unit, and not one that was pieced together out of scraps! Making simple couch cushions Then, I used Kilz primer to prime the entire piece, and used my paint sprayer to paint the entire thing black. Even the melamine board I sanded to help it take the paint. I sanded the entire unit with 40 grit sandpaper which is very rough. Once constructed, it was sturdy but looked rough. Then, I assembled the couch using 2.5″ construction screws and my drill and a brad nailer! Finishing the DIY Couch I followed the tutorial using just a circular saw to make most of the cuts, and my miter saw to make the 20° angle cuts on the back braces. Plus, most of these boards are quite sturdy. But, the measurements of the wood were consistent in their thickness which is what allowed for all the variation in type. 9″ media shelves for the seat back, counter top and the bottom front.1×2 common board for the back of the bench to make the seat a bit longer.2×6 for the back braces and the countertop braces. When pricing this out, it would have cost me close to $200 to build, which it why I turned to the leftovers that I had! If you look through the plans, they use 2x4s, 2x10s and 3/4″ plywood. When I tell you I used scrap wood, I mean I seriously used scrap wood. You can get the plans for the Zig Zag Couch here on their website, it has a detailed tutorial and cut list that is very easy to follow. This allows for 5 kids to hang out in this seating area that really doesn’t take up a lot of the room at all! BUT, it had a counter top back where 3 more bar stools can sit. It was low to the ground with a tilt up looking at the tv, perfect for gaming. I landed on these plans for a Zig Zag Couch from Homemade Modern and it was perfect. I scoured Pinterest looking for the perfect simplistic design that I could create that would not take up a lot of space and that would provide quite a bit of seating. So, with the transition of this room from a preschool playroom to an older gaming room, came the need for seating.Īs is the case with most of my DIY woodworking projects here I like to do things on a budget, and use what I have. My kids have since gotten older and do less floor play, and more hanging out together playing board games and video games. It was filled with Magnatile towers (my very favorite kids toy) and marble runs and other works in progress all the time. This room as a play room needed floor space that was open for play on the ground. Luckily I saved the wood from those media shelves, because they made their way into a couch for that same space! I love a good repurposed project. This entailed ripping out existing built in media shelving and making my own built ins that could house board games and bins of kids toys. When we bought this house, the first thing we did was convert this media room off to the living room into a playroom. I built this DIY gaming couch 100% from scrap wood in my garage, and it was easy! Build a DIY Gaming Couch One of the components I wanted to figure out most in this room was seating. Week 7 of the fall one room challenge means the finishing touches! There is one week left until the final reveal of this game room makeover. Since the foundation starts of with one card and many cards are exposed for play at once, Agnes is a game that allows for much more skill and higher odds of winning than its more popular parent.Ĭanfield is a solitaire game that was originally created to be nearly unwinnable, but due to people easing the rules over the years, it can now often be won with a bit of skill. When the deck is down to two last cards, they're transferred to the normal wastepile and both are available to play. The top card of each reserve can be played on the foundations or the tableau empty reserve slots will remain empty until the next deal. The other difference is how the deck is dealt click the top of the deck to deal one card to each of the seven reserve piles. Free tableau spaces can be filled by any card or pile starting with a card that's one less than the foundation seed. Ranks in this game wrap around, so a king or pile starting with a king can be played on an ace. The tableau piles are built the same as in Klondike, down by suit and in alternating colors. The first difference between Agnes and Klondike is that the top of the deck is dealt to the first foundation the rest of the foundations are built up by suit starting with this card's rank. However, its rules are changed to make the odds of winning the game easier. You can also check out our entire directory free games.Agnes is member of the ever-famous Klondike solitaire family. If you like Klondike Turn 3, you might also enjoy: What are other popular Solitaire games like Spider Solitaire and FreeCell? Because there are more cards, there are more sequencing opportunities making these games easier, but longer. There are other variations where you can play with two decks called Double Klondike Turn 3 and three decks called Triple Klondike Turn 3. For example, you can play with two or three passes through the stock pile, which make the game more challenging. In other variations you can play with limits. This means once all cards are moved to the waste, you move them back to the stock pile unlimited times. You can play with no limits on the number of passes through the stock pile, which is the default version of our game. What are other variations of Klondike Turn 3? Turn 1, on the other hand, has a win rate of 33.0%. Of those, 158,382 were won, making the odds of winning 11.1%. We looked at a sample of 1,429,916 random games played. In Turn 3, you can only play every third card dealt from the stock pile, limiting your options and naturally making the game harder. In Turn 1, you have the option to play every card from the stock pile. What game is harder between Turn 1 and Turn 3? Learn how to play Klondike Solitaire here, or watch our instructional video. You do this by dispensing 3 cards from the stock pile at a time, and using the tableau to sequence and free up cards to place in the foundation. The goal is to move all 52 cards into 4 foundation piles by suit from Ace to King in descending order. Once that is played, you can you can play the next card of the 3 that have been dealt. Only the top card of the 3 can be played. Turn 3 is a version of Klondike Solitaire where 3 cards are drawn from the stock pile at once. Specifically developed normative data must be adopted for using MoCA in serial cognitive assessments for clinical and research studies. The three MoCA forms are not strictly parallel. Correlation analysis showed strong correlations of MoCA 2 ( r = 0.69, p < .001) and MoCA 3 ( r = 0.61, p < .001) adjusted total scores with MMSE adjusted scores. Inferential cutoff for adjusted scores, estimated using a non-parametric technique, were 17.49 for MoCA 2 and 18.34 for MoCA 3. From the derived linear equation, correction grids for MoCA 2 and 3 raw scores were built and equivalent scores computed. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that age and education significantly influenced MoCA 2 and 3 total scores. ResultsĪ three-step procedure complemented by confirmatory factor analysis and a mixed factorial ANOVA suggested that the three MoCA versions are not strictly parallel. Three separate convenience samples were recruited: the first ( n = 78) completed three alternate MoCA versions for ascertaining inter-form parallelism the second ( n = 302) and the third ( n = 413) samples were administered MoCA 2 or 3 to compute normative data. Alternate forms of the MoCA were developed to avoid “learning effect” in serial assessments, and the present study aimed at investigating inter-form parallelism and at providing normative values for the Italian versions of MoCAs 2 and 3. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) is a screening test widely used in clinical practice and suited for detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment. I'd understand if the random old "DISCO" board I have, doesn't support certain features, but I also have a brand new ST-LINK/V2, there isn't a /V2.1, and everyone seems to just be using whatever the new thing is that enables VCP. According to one hack, the difference is (also, apparently a couple pins got swapped around?) down to one singular character: the STM32F103C8T6 substituted by a STM32F103C BT6 (which happens to be double the Flash, a rather important difference). Maybe that's the problem, it doesn't know I can put a more functional version on here? (Can I?) The best I can figure right now, - and I have no fucking clue how this isn't made clear anywhere in the documentation - it seems that ONLY the ST-LINK V2.1, NOT the -A or -B, NOT the ST-LINK/V2 that's sold, NOT the STM32F429I-DISCO (but yes the -DISC1?), and probably so on with other boards (Nucleo etc.), support VCP and DFU (or some combination anyways). I guess that would be okay for updating the ST-Link, but I can already do that with the updater tool, at least with whatever firmware version it detects I should have. it looks like he's working with a Maple board, using Arduino IDE or something like that?
